2. Salon Services - Booking & Appointments

2.1 Booking Requirements

All appointments must be booked through our online booking system (Booksy) or by contacting the salon directly. By making a booking, you confirm that:

- All information provided is accurate and complete

- You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts

- You agree to pay for services rendered

2.2 Deposit Policy

A 50% deposit is required for all appointments. The deposit will be:

- Charged at the time of booking

- Deducted from your final service cost

- Subject to our cancellation policy (see Section 2.3)

2.3 Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We understand that circumstances change, but cancellations affect our ability to serve other clients. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Standard Cancellations (24+ Hours Notice)

- Refund: Full deposit refunded within 1-3 business days

- How to Cancel: Contact us via Booksy, phone, or email

Last-Minute Cancellations (Less Than 24 Hours Notice)

- Charge: 50% of the full service cost will be charged

- Next Appointment: Your next booking will require double payment (100% deposit + 100% payment upon completion)

- Waiver: This penalty may be waived at our discretion for genuine emergencies

No-Shows

- Definition: Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without prior cancellation

- Charge: 50% of the full service cost will be charged

- Next Appointment: Your next booking will require double payment (100% deposit + 100% payment upon completion)

- Future Bookings: Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings

2.4 Late Arrivals

Punctuality is essential to ensure we can deliver the quality service you expect and maintain our schedule for other clients.

- Late Arrival Policy: If you arrive late for your appointment, we reserve the right to:

- Reduce your service time to accommodate other scheduled clients

- Classify you as a no-show and apply cancellation fees if excessively late

- Refuse service if we cannot complete your treatment safely and properly

- Our Commitment: We will do our best to accommodate you if you're running late, but this cannot be guaranteed.

- Please Contact Us: If you know you'll be late, please call us immediately so we can assess whether to hold your appointment or reschedule.

2.5 Payment Terms

- Full Payment Due: The remaining balance (after deposit deduction) must be paid immediately upon completion of your service

- Payment Methods Accepted: Cash, credit/debit cards, PayPal, Stripe

- No Refunds on Completed Services: Once a service has been completed, no refunds will be issued unless there is a genuine service failure (see Section 2.8)

2.6 Age Policy

- No Age Restrictions: We welcome clients of all ages

- Parental Supervision: Clients under 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian

- Parental Consent: For clients under 18, we may require parental consent for certain services

Please Note: We do not currently offer hair coloring services due to time constraints.

- Resolution: We will make every reasonable effort to rectify the situation

2.9 Health, Safety & Client Responsibility

Your Safety is Our Priority. Please inform us if you:

- Have any medical conditions we should be aware of

- Are pregnant or breastfeeding (for certain treatments)

Client Responsibilities:

- Arrive clean and presentable for your appointment

- Follow aftercare advice provided by your stylist

- Inform us of any concerns during your treatment

We Reserve the Right to Refuse Service if:

- You are intoxicated or under the influence of substances

- You are aggressive, abusive, or disrespectful to staff

- You have a contagious condition

- We believe the service would be unsafe or inappropriate

2.10 Liability Limitations - Salon Services

While we take every precaution to ensure your safety and satisfaction:

Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim arising from salon services shall not exceed the cost of the service provided.

- You have 7 calendar days from receipt to return hair care products and fragrances

- Products must be unopened and in original, resalable condition

- Original packaging, seals, and labels must be intact

- Hygiene regulations prevent returns of opened or used products

Extended Return Window for Hair Products

14 Days for Hair Care Products (with additional options)

- Hair care products (not perfumes) can be returned within 14 days from receipt

- Option 1: Return for refund (unopened only)

- Option 2: Exchange for a different hair care product in-salon

- Visit Stelimolloy Men's Salon at 2 Montgomery Street, Belfast

- Bring the product and proof of purchase

- Exchange for an alternative STELIMAN hair care product of equal or greater value

- If exchanging for a lower-value product, no refund of the difference is provided

How to Return Products
